As it is now... It's like over correcting your steering with a steering wheel made out of rubber bands. It seems to tighten up the faster you go, unless you start the fishtail dance, then it's all over the place. Going full throttle and using the drift button is the best way to get around all but the sharpest turns.
Seems like there’s too much deadzone in the steering controls very noticeable in quick left right sections and maybe sensitivity is too low again noticeable at slow speeds. It’s a fun game and meant to be so I’m gathering being able to drift round all but most corners at speed was intentional I just think the issues mentioned cause a little frustration at times. Controller setting options for sensitivity would be great.
Everyone says the steering is lagging, it is. It is not just deadzone either. Brakes are instant. If i brake and steer at exact same time, car brakes first, then steers after. They will not even comment about it, making new spammy posts on the social feeds without first addressing ANY of the questions, even when there are very few to answer (like 1 or 2 at times) or they say it is your tv, or some silly fan boi lies and says ""ooh, it is fine for me, no issue at all"" etc etc making any fix even less likely.
Bad physics are acceptable, even could be fun to play with - but Steering Lag just removes that fun, and makes everything hard work and counter-intuitive.
Broken trophies are a pain, missing cars and tiny episodes are annoying, but massive Steering Lag is just plain stupid and ruins the game more than any other thing imo.
